This is not a business book however an important book for every woman and everyone who has a woman in their life (I’m talking to you men!) to listen to or read. I listened to it this past summer and what a difference it has made in my life.

This book is written by a US CPA (who works with Robert Kiyosaki, Rich Dad Poor Dad) however covers Canadian and Australian differences also. While focusing on US taxes, most of it is also applicable in Canada.

This month I decided to share a physical book I read while I was in Hawaii (I read 4 books that week lol) as I think it is very timely with Remembrance Day coming up.

Kyle Cease is a comedian and actor I heard speak at an event last year. It was my favourite talk at the event so when I saw this book I didn’t hesitate, and he doesn’t disappoint.

While primarily focused on the US, this book also talks about Canada, and most of the tips can be used in Canada. As the saying goes, it isn’t necessarily how much you make, it is more important how much you keep.

This is a quick and easy listen told in a story format.

I listened to this book a few years ago and felt it was time to listen to it again with all of the ups and downs we have been going through.

First of all, I purchased this audible as I like him as an actor and wanted to know his story however mostly because he was the one reading it.

This book was recommended to me by a friend in the US who is very successful in the Non-profit world and business. At first, I thought, I know my value, I don’t need to listen to that however, I am glad I did.

This is a great book for all of us with “squirrel” syndrome. The distractions in the day, from phone calls to unscheduled meetings to phone notifications, pull us away from focused time.

Highly recommend if you are in business.
